Our Story

Given the old look of the farmhouse, we decided to renovate the house by rebuilding a home with a more modern outlook and feel for such weekend getaways and to escape the busy city life from time to time. This led to the creation of Naledi@53,  whose name was inspired by our daughter by the same name meaning ‘Star’.

As we settled into the project during 2015, we realised the farm was a hidden gem which turned out to be an apt place of relaxation given its peaceful and tranquil settings. Naledi@53 evolved into a place which colleagues, friends, families and business people could utilise for their getaways under the theme “Home Away From Home”. The quality of the setting was endorsed by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa, where the private game farm was awarded a 5 Star rating in 2018, the same of which has been proudly maintained.
